McQuay Stables is a state-of-the-art training and breeding facility that features a 250 X 125 foot indoor arena and a full staff of professionals, located in Tioga, Texas, in the heart of North Texas.
Colleen McQuay Tim McQuay
As a rider, Colleen McQuay earned numerous USEF championships in the hunter divisions while also competing at the AQHA events. She is a 6 time Congress champion, with numerous AQHA World Championships as well.
Colleen divides her time from training her Hunters and Jumpers to helping with the Reining horse training. She also does clinics, and works with other trainers to help them develop their program, or on specifics such as lead change problems. “I’ve been very honored to work with some of the top trainers in the country.” Colleen says.
Tim McQuay has been a record-setter in the National Reining Horse Association for the past two decades. He was the first rider to ever earn over $2 Million in reining competition.
He has won every major National Reining Horse Association sanctioned event at least once, including the NRHA Futurity, the National Reining Breeders Classc, the NRHA Derby, and the NRHA Superstakes.
